Every summer, the Milwaukee Ballet School accepts 100-150 aspiring young ballet dancers into its intensive summer program, a rigorous boot camp of sorts that recreates the daily grind of a professional dancer. The culmination of that training is a showcase called “Emergence,” which gives these dance students an opportunity to perform on on a major stage, at the Wilson Center for the Arts. The Wilson Center hosts that annual showcase this evening at 4:30 p.m.
