Have media depictions of women changed over the last three decades, or does the media still judge women on the basis of their attractiveness and sexuality? Jennifer Sieble Newsome's sobering 2011 documentary examines that question and concludes that in many respects, the media's attitude toward women—particularly strong women—is still shockingly primitive.
