Along the beautiful shoreline of Lake Michigan, a Milwaukee tradition celebrating the city’s German heritage will take place July 27-29. Another year of German Fest is upon us.
At this year’s German Fest entertainment includes Austrian band Die Lauser, the Stihl Timbersports® U.S. Championships, a Battle of the Mascots, the Carousel Organ Association of America and more.
For the deal-seekers out there, Friday is your day. On July 27 admission will only cost $3. German Fest also offers free admission for Active Military Personnel and their immediate family members all day, every day.
The German Fest Culture Pavilion will feature an exhibit on German inventors and inventions, which include the computer, television, and of course, beer.
Outside of the fest, take a walking tour of buildings that represent German-American Milwaukee on Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. $25 tickets include admission into German Fest.
And no German Fest would be complete without the food. Enjoy food and drink from Usinger’s, Milwaukee Pretzel Company, Wein-Bauer, Leinenkugel’s, Barefoot Refresh Spritzers and more.
