Eric Appleton’s Arrangement for Murder, No. 2 sounds like it might be a sequel. Or maybe something on an orchestral concert. As far as I can make out, it’s not either of these things. It’s a new piece being performed as a part of UW-Whitewater’s Summeround Theatre season.
It’s described as an “action-packed thriller” involving a couple of couples. Valerie and Fred are collectors. Richter and Anne are a couple of people who “covet nice things.” The two pairs get folded into a plot involving, “Forged paintings, stolen trinkets and secret affairs.” Jim Butchart directs.
The drama takes the stage June 23 and 27 at the Hicklin Studio Theatre in the Greenhill Center of the Arts on the UW-Whitewater campus. For ticket reservations, visit UW-Whitewater's website.
