“The Ringo Starr Fine Art Show” Sept. 6-8 Gallery 505 517 E. Silver Spring Drive
“I started in the late-’90s with computer art. While I was touring, it game me something to do in all those crazy hotels you have to stay in on the road,” Beatles drummer Ringo Starr once said. Gallery 505 opens an exhibit and sale featuring Starr’s hand-signed, limited-edition artworks that coincides nicely with the musician’s upcoming concert at the BMO Harris Pavilion (Sept. 8). The art show is free and open to the public, and all works on display are available to purchase, with 100% of Starr’s proceeds going to the Lotus Foundation.
