The ridiculous 2008 comedy Adventures of Power makes clear its intentions of being a cult classic immediately. Writer-director Ari Gold stars as a rhythm-less mine worker who longs to be an air drummer, inciting the ridicule of his co-workers. He finds unlikely solidarity underground, where he discovers a thriving sub-culture of fellow air-drummers. Adrian Grenier co-stars, along with comedic actors Michael McKean and Jane Lynch.
