Throughout the day, the Woodland Pattern Book Center hosts its annual Poetry Marathon and Benefit, 14 continuous hours of poetry and music from 150 different performers, beginning at 10 a.m.

I'm typing this gently, so please take it gently: Chill out. The last thing we need in this country/world is the concept of a "quarterlife crisis." At this rate, your kids will have post-elementary school crises. Do you want that for them? At 36, I could easily find myself envying you. You have everything in front of you, you're educated, and you seem reasonably well-informed in general. You are the only thing that can get in your way. But I'm not envious- because I still have everything in front of me. That never changes unless you make it change. As for finding "the one" the Atlantic recently published an amazing article about finding "the one" that advocated settling and made some undeniably solid points on the subject. The one for the long haul is seldom the one that feels like "the one" if that makes any sense. Either way, that's one thing that you're guaranteed to screw up if you worry about or try to force it.
