The Minneapolis quintet Roster McCabe is familiar with Milwaukee by now. They played a December show at The Rave and several well-received sets at Summerfest in July. The band formed at the University of Minnesota in 2005, first playing acoustic rock, which they ditched in favor of the blend of ’70s funk and reggae they now tour behind. They plan to release a follow-up to their 2007 debut, The Rhythm/The Elements, which aimed squarely for the jam circuit, later this year.
