The Fair offers many ways to save on admission and support charitable causes and organizations as well as honor veterans and military personnel and their families:
Thursday, Aug. 1 is Wells Fargo $2 Day benefitting the Hunger Task Force. Admission is just $2 before 4 p.m. when you donate at least two cans of pears or peaches or make a cash donation outside any Fair admission entrance.
Friday, Aug. 2 is Celebrate Wisconsin Day. Visitors can buy two adult admission tickets for $14 when you present your out-of-state ID at any Fair ticket window.
Monday, Aug. 5 is Kohl’s Family Value Day. All adults will receive $6 admission and all youth, ages 11 and under, will receive free admission from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesday, August 6 is Crazy Grazin’ Day. More than 40 food vendors will be offering a variety of items at reduced prices. Participating vendors will display posters. For a preview of menu items, visit wistatefair.com.
Wednesday, August 7 is Meijer Day. Receive a $4 discount on you admission when you present a Meijer receipt totaling $30 or more from any Wisconsin Meier store. Limit one receipt per offer. Redeem at any Fair ticket window. Promotion ends promptly at 6 p.m.

Sunday, August 11 is Miller High Life Veterans & Military Recognition Day. Military personnel and their family members will receive free admission until 4 p.m. Fairgoers who present a Military ID (DD214, VA ID, Military Common Access Card or Dependent Card) at any admission entrance will receive free admission for themselves and up to three family members. There is a limit of four free admissions per ID. The promotion ends promptly at 4 p.m.
State Fair Bargain Book
The State Fair Bargain Book offers almost 90 ways to save on food, drink, merchandise, Fair souvenirs and much more. Bargain Books are $4 and are available through July 31 at the Ticket Office and online at WiStateFair.com. During the Fair, the books can be purchased for $5 at three Fair information centers (East of Wisconsin Products Pavilion on Grandstand Avenue, Guest Services Pavilion and SpinCity Redemption Booth) and all Fair Wear locations. Proceeds from all Bargain Books benefit the Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation.
