Let’s hope we live long enough to visit all the places described in 100 Things to Do in Milwaukee Before You Die. Local author Jennifer Posh has packed more than 100 things into her bucket list, given that some of the hundred categories (“Memorable Museums,” “Five Top Options for Bay View Brews”) have multiple entries. Posh has included some of the obvious tourist traps (a photo with the Bronze Fonze?), but in the main, it’s a hipster’s handbook. The Foundation Tiki Bar is described as “a dark mysterious slice of paradise,” the Bloody Mary at Sobelman’s is recommended and the small plates at Balzac get an enthusiastic, “Oui!” Even so, enough cool Milwaukee things remain unmentioned for a sequel.
