Ninety years after a freak accident halts the aging process for 29-year-old Adaline (Blake Lively), she meets Ellis Jones (Michiel Huisman), a handsome young philanthropist who brings her to meet his parents at their family estate. When Adaline is introduced to Ellis’ father, William (Harrison Ford), she is horrified to meet the elderly version of a young man she loved 50 years ago. With her secret on the verge of being exposed, Adaline makes a decision that could cost the perennially young woman her immortality. Ford and Lively play their characters’ chance reunion just right to deliver surprisingly moving performances in this romantic drama.
