The third edition in a series, Peru Boom! gives a nice sample to what Peruvian club music sounds like. Combining traditional club music with Peru’s national music style, Cumbia, this album showcases the best and brightest artists in the Peruvian club scene. With artists such as Chakruna, Animal Chuki and Deltatron, it gives a nice variety of the different popular club artists in Peru. Even though the songs are unique, it can’t help but feel a bit repetitive, since each song seamlessly glides into another. This album is a good introduction to the interesting world of Peruvian techno music.
