There's so many new developments happening in the city right now that we have a hard time keeping track of them all and where they stand. That's why from time to time on The Disclaimer, WMSE's weekly culture chat with Ryan Schleicher, Milwaukee Record's Matt Wild and I, we like to bring in Urban Milwaukee's development expert Jeramey Jannene to help us sort through them. He discusses the state of the Hop, which begins service this week, and how the streetcar is tied to the fate of the mammoth Couture development at the lakefront, which still has some hurdles to clear. He also walks us through some of the new condo proposals in Bay View, some of which have been met with hostility from neighbors, and details the new jobs that will be coming to the city's Harbor District. We also get into the ins and outs of good street design. As always, it's an informative show.
