WMSE's annual Backyard BBQ will return to Cathedral Square Park for another year of rootsy music and smokey food on Saturday, Sept. 5. Today the station announced the lineup for the sixth installment of the event, which will feature the New Orleans brass band Dirty Bourbon River Show and a host of Midwestern rock/blues/Americana acts:

The event runs from 4-11 p.m. and will double as a welcome event for incoming MSOE freshmen. Once again the event will also be offering copies of the Milwaukee Film Festival guide.
