One of Milwaukee's most popular comedians, Chris Barnes headlines two shows tonight at the Comedy Café, one at 8 and one at 10:15 p.m. Barnes delivers his jokes in a low-key, “a funny thing happened to me,” sort of way, but he can also become a ball of energy and contort his face wildly when the joke demands it.

Isnt it about time The Shepard's contributors wake up and smell Fox Cable News? (Channel 48) the most watched cable news channel, fair and balanced. Does not insult the intelligence of viewers by assuming one does not question the hope and change agenda that has been one of the most agregious hollow promises in our political history. DailyKos had a target list with Rep. Giffords on it for being to moderate. The DLC (Democrats) had a map with crosshairs on it targeting districts around the country.
Are they guilty of over-the-top rhetoric?
Is the media using them as an example of "hate sppech"? The double standard is rearing its ugly head again.

Putting the blame on the right wing before any information about the shooter was available was a blatant attempt to, as Rahm Emanuel put it, "not let a good crisis go to waste".
It was nothing more than exploitation of a tragedy for political purposes. Liberals are getting desperate.

Everyone should have simply "counted to ten" before they opened their mouth. The leaning (understatement) New York Times, the Sheriff, and others provided more damage to their opintion than they contributed to support it.
Both sides have been equaly guilty of nasty rhetoric, however that being said, the recent linkage to the murders by the left wing was unforgivable. The recent speech by the president indicating that the american people need to be civil was also unforgivable (he should have stayed with the program or pointed fingers appropriatey.

My wife and I just saw Chris Barnes at Joke Joint in Bloomington, MN. He was incredibly funny, and he interacted a great deal with the audience, making spontaneous quips from audience input.
