The UWM Union Theatre kicks of its week-long Latin American Film Series tonight with a free 7 p.m. screening of XXY, a 2007 drama about Alex, a 15-year-old girl born with both female and male sex characteristics. Alex’s already difficult life becomes even more confusing when she begins a relationship with a young boy unsure of his own sexuality.
