Milwaukee county pools are gearing up for a busy summer, if the weather ever warms up that is. The Milwaukee County water parks Cool Waters and David F. Schulz Aquatic Center will both be adding weekdays to their summer schedule beginning Monday, June 8.
Admission is $7.25 for visitors ages 12-59 and $5.50 for those ages 3-11 or 60 and up. Night swim admission, Monday through Thursday after 6 p.m. is $4.50 for all ages 3 and up. Children ages 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Season passes are available to individuals for $50, families of up to four members for $135, and additional children for $25 each.
Milwaukee County’s deep-well pools and the Pelican Cove water park will open Saturday, June 20, from 12:30-4:30 p.m., weather permitting. These pools are: Grobschmidt, Hales Corners, Holler, Jackson, McCarty, Pelican Cove in Kosciuszko Park, Sheridan, Washington and Wilson.
Admission rates at the deep-well pools and Pelican Cove are $3 for ages 12 and up, $2 for ages 3-11, $2 for evening swim general admission, and $4 for lap swim sessions or Aqua Zumba classes. Children ages 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Swimming lessons will also be offered for all of the non-swimmers out there. Swim lessons are $40 per eight-class session. Only cash payments will be accepted.

Milwaukee’s pools are a great place to have fun on a summer day. Just don’t drop a Baby Ruth bar in the pool.
