It takes a tremendous amount of personality and ambition to decide to put together a one-person performance. Ryan Capp appears to have more than enough personality to fill a show. He’s a choreographer and singer and a dancer AND an actor. Early next month, Capp has a performance at the Sunset Playhouse. In collaboration with music director Adam Baus, Capp is putting together Capps Off to Hollywood: a celebration of dance in classic cinema with work inspired by Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Tommy Tune, Ray Bolger, Jimmy Cagney and Sammy Davis Jr., among others.
Capps Off to Hollywood runs one weekend only April 9 - 11 at the Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove as part of Sunset’s SideNotes Cabaret series. For more information, visit sunsetplayhouse.com.
