Who doesn’t love free concerts & awesome rooftop parties?

The AURA Music Series is back for its second season as Milwaukee’s coolest rooftop concert experience. This special 2018 season is condensed into 4 jam-packed August Friday nights featuring ALL Milwaukee artists in tow. The Aura Music Series showcases the impermeable energy and allure of artists who are on the brink of becoming musical powerhouses.  

Friday August 3rd

Kickoff Party Featuring Collections of Colonies of Bees

Milwaukee’s own Collections of Colonies of Bees, (collaborators/iterations have included: Bon Iver, Sylvan Esso, Volcano Choir, Field Report, All Tiny Creatures, Group of the Altos) fresh off of their SOLD-OUT tour dates opening for Sylvan Esso, will be performing a special long-set concert for opening night of AURA 2018. Their brand-new album HAWAII (release date July 13, 2018) is both complex and comforting. Full of dichotomies of sound and insight, the album is perfectly poised at the intersection of experimentation and pop. This will be a show you won’t want to miss.

Featuring Newvices

Featured in Summerfest’s Emerging Artist Series 2018, and quickly working their way up through the ranks as one of Milwaukee’s most epic bands to see live, Newvices combines both funk and beach tunes to create a lingering sound that gets listeners grooving, thinking and feeling.

Featuring No No Yeah Okay

The Milwaukee-based genre melting pot, No No Yeah Okay, took form in 2014, and has recently released their sophomore EP “Cabal” after signing with LA-based independent label, Little Assembly, in 2017. Check out the “Make Believe” music video & stream “Cabal” on Spotify.

Featuring Chicken Wire Empire

Immediately following the Shepherd Express Margarita Festival 2018 at the Milwaukee Athletic Club (tickets sold separately) – Chicken Wire Empire will keep the party rolling with contemporary tones and super funky bluegrass starting at 8pm. Bring your dancing shoes, and get ready to get down.
