Miramar Theatre, 8 p.m. One of the better of the so-called “jamtronica” bands, the Philadelphia five-piece Lotus thinks beyond usual jam influences. The group draws not only from beatheavy dance music but also slippery, experimental postrock, particularly Tortoise, so they place at least as much emphasis on composition as they do the groove.
