As a child, Felicia Sullivan essentially raised herself with no parental support as she navigated Brooklyn in the 1980s, but just when she seemed to have endured the worst of it, as she was graduating from college her troubled mother disappeared without a trace. Tonight at 7 p.m., Sullivan reads from her new memoir, The Sky Isn’t Visible from Here, at the Schwartz Bookshop on Downer Avenue.
