Pigeon John continues his string of upbeat, irreverent releases with his latest album, Pigeon John…and the Summertime Pool Party, a record that finds Omaha’s Fedora-clad rapper cracking jokes at his own expense, taking trips to Taco Bell and collaborating with underground heavyweights like J-Live, Brother Ali and RJD2, all acts that typically tend toward more serious underground rap than Pigeon John’s unapologetically silly party jams. Pigeon John does a 10 p.m. show tonight at the Highbury Pub.

Your ignorance is phenomenally astounding, Corrina. No economic or social structure is meant to last forever. Communism worked wonders for Russia, but it ran it's course. Same thing will happen to Capitalism and America. As an economic structure, it's flawed but it works. As a social structure, it's horrible. It's set up to make the rich richer and the poor poorer; all while masked under a phoney blanket of "fairness." Socialism and Marxism takes better care of it's people, but they don't have practical economic structures. Capitalism isn't sound, either, but it gives naive fold the impression that it's sound by promising wealth to those who "work hard." We know this isn't true; case in point, Corrina, your 60 hour work week. By that rationale, you'd be a damned millionaire. In theory, Communism, Socialism, and Marxism trump Capitalism as a social structure. In practice, Capitalism trumps them as an economic structure.
That's more intelligable than anything you've ever written in your life, Corrina.

Laugh if you must and while you still can my deluded friend. What's insane is your idea of getting back on capitalist roller coaster of the so-called free markets, like some Looney Tunes character. In the past 75 years, there have been two big economic crisis and 12 smaller ones in between, yet you prostrate yourself and rejoice in all its abomination while more than 1 billion people in the world, live in extreme poverty in UNDERdeveloped countries. There's not a place on this earth that has not been devastated by your god capitalism and yet you sit there joking about it like some fool. You simply sound like your disconnected from this reality. Perhaps you've allied yourself to the same fundamentalist proto-fascist principles of your gods dear friend, the Taliban. You need a serious history lesson my brother and I'd suggest you read "A Peoples History of the World" by Chris Harman or download his lecture from Resistance MP3 or better yet watch The Crisis Now. Then grab a matchstick, burn your plastic tree and breath in merry, merry deeply.

Meepos, both the capitalist system and the state that is controlled by it are obvious failures. Not everything the right sees is delusional. If people understood how hustlers, pimps, rapists and gangsters operate then they would come to understand the modus operandi of the state and capitalist class. This is a ruthless, soulless system we are living under. Smiling faces sometimes they don't tell the truth. Christmas for example has a horrid history. It has nothing to do with Jesus because if Jesus were alive, you can bet the cops would be bashing his skull into the pavement. Jesus was a revolutionary communist. He wanted nothing to do with empire building and consumption. So Christmas is all about that fake fat man, satan claus and shallow christian consumers. These fake consumers suffer from a false consciousness and are driven temporarily out of guilt to "help" those around them to satiate their egos and make themselves feel good. They have absolutely no intention to eradicate poverty because after christmas they return to their narrow conceptions of self-preservation within this corrupt and bankrupt system. The hypocrisy should be instructive. Poverty, war and government by the corporations are the true meanings of christmas. The healthcare reform is just another wrapped up christmas punishment. It couldn't be any clearer for the weak American peasants. Reformism simply preserves the system. We need serious revolutionary social transformation theories like this one.

Secondly, since I work 60 hours a week I am POSITIVE I work more than you, if you work at all. What is it about you and your lack of self-esteem, Corrina, that makes you pat yourself on the back? Oh, I get it, no one else does it for you. There's nothing, absolutely NOTHING intimidating about you. Don't flatter yourself 1.) You have to intellectual to have any sort of intellectual superiority. I can tell by how you write that you're far from "intellectual." You don't pose anything that resembles an arguement. You just call people names, say "I win," and call yourself intellectually superior. 2.) I doubt you work 60 hours a week. I doubt that you live in the city. Your comments greatly distance yourself from any understanding or work or the city. I'd address "your" comments about the worker if they were "yours" and not the regurgitated ramblings of Charlie Sykes. If lampooning as an urbanite on the web gets your hair wet, fine. What is it about Milwaukee county employees that they are such brittle and fragile individuals? Why should they be immune to layoffs, reduced hours, or outsourcing? Many of us in the REAL WORLD that work in the private sector have been forced to take a second or even third job. Some have seen layoffs or a reduction of hours or overtime. The sense of entitlement that Milwaukee county employees have is just laughable. The county has been scamming the county taxpayer FOR DECADES, their mafia-like pension racket is criminal, and the benefits they receive are better than any other private sector employee. Yeah, it sucks to get laid off but quit your crying and get another job, find a part time job, sell some stuff, and then you leftists and union hacks can be living in the real world like the rest of us.

Walker had 6 years to do something positive for Milwaukee County. Instead he spend his time dismantling
County government and his effort discrediting the very institution, he was elected to uphold and making it as ineffectual as possible to fulfill his promise of getting the monkey off the tax payers back. Well, this "No New Taxes" premise will cost Milwaukee County Tax Payers more money to pay for expensive privatized County contracts -- like the cleaning the Court House. More Cost -- Less Service -- that's Scott Walker's motto.
