After using “Gimmie Shelter” in three of his films, Martin Scorsese did the inevitable and went straight to the song’s source for his latest film, Shine A Light. This concert film captures a fairly typical Rolling Stones performancealbeit one with guest appearances from Christina Aguilera, Buddy Guy and Jack White, and with former President Bill Clinton in the audience. The Times Cinema screens the documentary tonight at 7 p.m.
