As a child, I used to spend a week each summer at a cousin's dairy farm. The milk served at meals there was from the same day's milking, just sitting long enough to chill in the refrigerator. About the only way to get it any fresher was to suck it directly from the cow. Best-tasting milk I ever had.

I don't drink milk much to begin with. If there were a significant price difference, I'd probably consider purchasing the raw milk over the pasteurized milk every once in a blue moon when a recipe I'm making calls for milk. I've heard that there are many nutritional benefits to drinking raw milk, tho.
The Milk Industry in WI is kind of like Big Tobacco elsewhere, I think. Selling raw milk is only really a threat to the large pasteurizing dairies. Let the people eat cake, I say, or drink raw milk, as the case stands.

There should have been a "Hell yes!" on that poll. I've had raw milk before. It's so much more delicious than the pasteurized/processed stuff in the supermarket. There's really no comparison.

Is there any way to get my money's worth out of my peanut butter purchases? It is always impossible to get the last bits of p.b. out of the jar. Should I try cashew butter, or will I run into the same problem?
