Dance Revolution Milwaukee’s bi-monthly mini performing arts festival is back from an intermission during which the show’s cool venue, The Box, moved to street level at 311 E. Wisconsin Ave. The first Follies in the new venue will feature two of Milwaukee’s funniest comedians, Liz Ziner and Allison Dunne, as well as new work by choreographer Tara Wrobel with dancers Mandi Karr and Emily Zakrzewski. The excellent Catey Ott Dance Company will dance “Life is (no) Daffodil,” a work inspired by poems by William Wordsworth and Langston Hughes. Melissa Vesel will dance a solo and Marie Warren will play the cello. Drinks are available. The atmosphere is casual. Tickets are $12 at the door. (John Schneider)
