Rachel: If you could describe your ensemble or overall personal style in three words, what would they be?
Gregg: Comfortable, current and crazy!
R: Where do you draw inspiration for your wardrobe?
G: I scout out underground designers, usually from other countries. But most of my inspiration comes from my environment/traveling. I take what I hear or see and form an outfit from that. Somehow it usually falls in the era of the '60s-'90s. (lol)
R: What is the most obscure origin of a certain part of your ensemble?
G: The widebrim hat I’m wearing actually came from the costume section at the thrift store, like most of my outfit, but the shoes came from the Roadium (an outdoor swapmeet back home in L.A).
R: Do you have a favorite piece in your wardrobe?
G: Favorite piece would probably be the cut off sweater, thrifted it a year ago but never knew how I’d wear it… until now.
R: What is your favorite place in Milwaukee to shop and why?
G: My friends vintage thrift collection, Sunshine Acid. Amanda, the curator, subconsciously thrifts things just for me.
R: Any advice for people trying to find their own style?
G: You just have to be comfortable in anything you put on and have the confidence to back up the clothing.
