Newcastle United of the English Premier League and Atlas Football Club of the Mexican Liga MX will participate in a friendly match at Miller Park right here in Milwaukee on Tuesday July, 14th.
This is the second time a professional soccer match has been held at our local baseball stadium, following last year’s friendly between Chivas and Swansea City A.F.C. Newcastle United, known as the “Magpies” by fans, was founded in 1892 and has been a mainstay in the EPL since the team’s inception.
Atlas Football Club, based out of Guadalajara, has been around since 1916 and has been in the top tier Mexican Liga MX for 86 years.
So head down to Miller Park to catch the big game. Tickets are on sale now and range from $25 - $70. The match begins at 8 p.m. with the parking lot opening at 5 p.m. for all your tailgating needs.
