In this fourquel, Isla Nublar’s Jurassic World is the fully functioning dinosaur theme park envisioned by John Hammond. With attendance to the park falling after 10 years of lucrative ticket sales, a smarter dinosaur hybrid—larger and more aggressive than T-Rex—brings the crowds back. Then the hybrid escapes its enclosure and discovers that hunting and killing is fun.
Chris Pratt appears as a dino wrangler working closely with intelligence-enhanced velociraptors to track the hybrid before it can kill every other living thing on the island. Excellent special effects and the blending of humorous moments into the film’s perilous action make this entry a good ride.
