Between the fake fog and a nervous coachman in too much of a hurry to leave before sundown, it’s easy to spot horror ahead. Out on Blu-ray, Tales of Terror (1962) is a trilogy sprung awkwardly to life from the pages of Edgar Allan Poe. Director Roger Corman, master of cheesy SFX and low-budget sets, was able to recruit talent, including charmingly wicked Vincent Price, bug-eyed Peter Lorre and an aged Basil Rathbone as a villain.
