One of Radio Milwaukee’s most tenured DJs just got a promotion. Jordan Lee, who has served as 88.9’s morning drive-time host since 2008, has been appointed the station’s new program director, the station announced this afternoon. Lee had previous served as that station’s assistant program director. He'll replace outgoing program director Sean Demery, who resigned to attend to family matters in Park City, Utah, but will continue to work with the station as a consultant, according to a station release.
“As assistant program director, Jordan has consistently done exceptional work, led the program team in implementing changes and encouraged excellence from the team,” 88.9’s executive director Mary Louise Mussoline said in the release. “In this position, he has also been developing strong industry contacts and worked with top national bands for our Studio Milwaukee on-air shows. Jordan is a rising star.”
Lee will be stepping down from his morning hosting duties. There’s no word on who will replace him.
