The Crystal Method’s debut album, 1997’s Vegas, made an impression among both longtime electronic-music junkies and newbies alike, even capturing the hearts of die-hard rock ’n’ roll fans. Featuring the sounds of a Clavia Nord Lead synthesizer, samples from Bill Cosby’s stand-up comedy and even answering-machine messages, the album brought the emerging big-beat movement of electronic music into the American limelight. As the era of the superstar DJ came and went, the duo of Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland adapted by playing smaller, club gigs, but this latest tour in support of their new record, Divided By Night, returns them to the live-band setup of their salad days.

Klutzenbeger and her campaign manager Austin Powers lost. They rushed to claim victory before all the votes were counted. Perhaps just a Republican dirty trick to humilate Kloppenheimer. Laws broken? Probably not. Dirty trick to humilate and inexperienced politician? Probably so. It wasn't neccessary but it help build morale among Republicans.

I wouldn't work with county auditors on how my computer meets standards either, if I had "cooked" it to lie (maybe she did, maybe not). I also wouldn't let them examine my system if I had also done personal business on it or even political campaign work it. These are taxpayer owned computers that are for government business only.
More importantly, that's why there was the old "adding machine tape", so that someone could check off the numbers listed against a list, make sure a mistake can be easily caught. If her "Access database" was properly set up, there would still be an individual count registered for each and every ward, not just a summary running total. This would make it easy to go back and audit a particular ward, catch if there are discrepancies in the counts being reported. Easy to catch a "tampered ward", if they exist. But, we like summaries, they hide details. Makes it real difficult to question the results.
If you really want to push the envelope, I wrote some time ago about applying Presidential electoral vote practices to individual Wards. That way, a Ward that votes 51% red will be registed as 100% red, effectively "flipping" those 49% blue votes, enhancing the final total when all wards are totalled. We all know that red districts are many, but often vote red by a small margin, whereas blue districts are few, and we suspect they vote blue by huge margins. A "winner take all" approach applied to each ward may create that minority rule that such voters believe they deserve. If we had published Ward by Ward counts, it could be easy to recompute that scenario "for curiosity purposes only".

We all want to make the "urban liberals" spend their own money, buy their own computers for community activism work, not use public owned resources at the public libraries or mandated free "cable access" channels on Time Warner cable.
Yet, it is fully a conservative Republican's "right" to use "excess capacity of workplace resources" to do their political work. Spending taxpayer dollars to maintain a minority capitalist edge over a democratic (small d) majority of poor people is completely okay in some people's greedy worlds.
Can you tell I am being sarcastic?

Where to start- you give me so much material, sometimes it's difficult.
1. You continue to ignore the fact that all votes were tallied. No one is alleging that votes were found or manufactured. In fact, you continue to ignore the glaring fact that one (very liberal) media outlet actually had the correct vote totals on election night. You go beyond ignorance of the fact that the error in reporting to the AP WAS caught, by the very measures that you propose in your second paragraph.
2. Your assertion that the electoral college system should be applied to state and local elections is a red herring. Why you even bring it up is a mystery- has nothing to do with the vague "points" you bring up in the rest of your rant.
3. To build on #2, your interpretation of how the liberal/conservative split breaks down is completely wrong- there were geographical areas that went big for the liberal candidate, areas that went big for the conservatives, and areas that were very closely split. You can find the maps on many websites, and this close overall split has been happening in Wisconsin for decades.
4. Scott Jensen spent a decade being persecuted by Brian Blanchard (a disgustingly partisan Madison DA) for using the resources of his state legislative offices to campaign for office. This FACT pulls the rug out from under your last point about Republicans having a "right" to use public resources to campaign. Jensen's career was destroyed, his life was disrupted for a decade- all for something that every politician does. It is difficult, if not impossible, to separate the politician from the politicking. The greater mystery is why you even bring this up- what does it have to do with the article or the rest of your "points"? Are you comparing Nicklaus' computer use to a case like Jensen's? Bizarre, non-sequitir, unrelated, not comparable.
5. Finally, it is painfully obvious that Kloppenburg's puppetmasters are dragging this process out to divert conservative donations away from the recall elections. Can you possibly deny this? This is the largest margin to be recounted in US history. The level of fraud on the part of liberals required to overturn this margin would be too obvious to be successful.
Any answers to my points today? Not holding my breath...

There are "voter ID" conservatives who are dead set convinced that Democratic voter fraud is rampant. They are as unshakeable as those who believe that Obama is not a US Citizen.
There are also liberal socialist environmentalist conspiracy-theorist democrats who are just as unshakeable in their belief that Republicans use rampant fraud to win things like Bush Presidencies. Even self-proclaimed "Nixon Republicans" have written here to say that dirty tricks are fair game, just feeds these kinds of democrats.
It's these kinds of people that need to have this brought out in full EXPENSIVE investigation, so that it may be revealed to all the borderline doubters, so that faith may be restored in US democracy. The Unshakeable are not going to be convinced anyway.
So FIRE AWAY, get the ideas rolling, more food for thought. This is what the Democrats were actually trying to do when they skipped state, when they failed to take their lumps in a quick Senate vote loss on the union crushing bill. Walker planned to get his budget debate over with quick, get it to have little opportunity for debate, as little "open-meeting" observers as possible, so that it could have another issue trump over it in the news. Less news to search back on via the internet, the easier it is to let the debate / scandal blow over and be forgotten.

Uh, ok- so the answer is "No, I will not answer your points, nor will I make a single salient point in reply."
Do you really believe that the fleeing 14 were working toward some sort of heightened democratic process? (That's what I'm assuming you meant in your disconnected vomiting of disconnected non-facts...) There are e-mails showing that they took their talking points directly from national union leaders. Fleeing a debate is, by definition, the antithesis of democracy.
Another question for you not to answer: Why is it OK for unions to own politicians, but bad for corporations to own politicians? Unions represent far fewer Americans than the corporations that employ most of us. People pay to be in unions, while the corporations actually pay us to join them. What is your major malfunction Private Pyle? Try to answer a question once in a while.
