Readings from Shield

Bay-area poet Phyllis Stowell teamed up with Milwaukee-area artist Pacia Sallomi for their new collection of poems and paintings, Shield. It’s a bilingual collection, dividing its time between French and English, so it’s only fitting that the pair promotes it with a bilingual book reading, which they’ll host this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the Alliance Francaise.
