Smooth fusion jazz of international renown continues to maintain a local concert presence thanks to The Chocolate Bar Entertainment Group. The industrious promotion entity has scheduled two Sunday brunch events featuring pianists at Milwaukee’s “urban country club for the soul,” 3041North (3041 W. North Ave., 810-3131). Former Milwaukeean Willie Pickens regales listeners with a trio performance after a catered buffet on March 22. New Yorker Bob Baldwin plies the keyboard for an Easter affair on April 5. Each is $45 in advance with doors opening at noon, food at 1 p.m. and the show starting at 2 p.m. If sufficient interest warrants, there may be a second Baldwin performance later the same day.
