Zoup! Fresh Soup Company, a fast casual chain of soup and sandwich shops, will be opening their first Wisconsin location on May 7 at 1433 N. Jefferson St. in the Avenir complex.
The restaurant will feature 12 daily rotating varieties of soup, salads and sandwiches. Popular soups include chicken potpie, lobster bisque and vegetarian split pea.
The location will also host a pre-opening fundraising event on May 6 from 5-8 p.m. to benefit Danceworks, a community-building charity that sponsors classes and outreach activities that integrate dance and other art forms. For $5, guests will receive a bowl of soup, bread and a drink, with 100% of the proceeds going to Danceworks.
