On Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, one of Wisconsin’s oldest and most respected fine art festivals will take place in Downtown Racine. The Monument Square Art Festival presents 85 artists from around the country exhibiting works in a variety of media including painting, photography, jewelry, textiles, sculpture, ceramics and mixed media.
Fair hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.
In addition to the artist exhibits, MSAF will be offering:
- Art activities for children, including the Racine Art Museum’s RAM on the Road
- Live entertainment by talented musicians throughout the two-day event
- A silent auction of art donated by the exhibiting artists will be held each day with proceeds benefiting the Racine Arts Council
- Half-off admission throughout the weekend at the Racine Art Museum
- A Food Truck Pavilion (new this year) offering a variety of menu items including Mediterranean, Asian, Filipino, pasties, bowls and crepes
