Former Elle editor Janice Lee reads tonight at the Schwartz Bookshop in Shorewood from her debut novel, The Piano Teacher, a historical romance set in 1950s Hong Kong. When a young, newly married woman is hired to give piano lessons to the daughter of a wealthy couple, she attracts the attention of the couple’s handsome British driver, a man with an unclear past that only begins to reveal itself after they begin their affair.
