Micky's Monkees Christmas

Of all the annual Christmas traditions that roll through town, few are odder than Micky’s Monkees Christmas, which stops at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino tonight at 8 p.m. Micky Dolenz was never known for any Christmas songs, of course, so tonight’s show will draw heavily from the Monkees oldies oeuvre, sprinkled with covers of usual-suspect Christmas traditionals. Dolenz is a charming performer as adept at acting as he is singing, though, so he should know how to make this scattershot bill more entertaining than it sounds.
