Brett Favre. Michael Jordan. Jay-Z. Bo Ryan? Could this be a list of people who have announced their retirement and then came back? It seems that way after an interview at the U.S. Venture Open charity golf event in Kaukauna.
When reporters asked on Wednesday night whether he was open to returning after this season the legendary coach responded, “I am”.
Ryan originally announced in late June that he planned to retire after one more season as the head coach of the Badgers basketball team.
Bo Ryan has led the Badgers to a 357-125 record in his 14 years at Wisconsin. While he never led the Badgers to an NCAA championship he did lead them to a Final Four in 2014 and to the championship game in 2015.
With Bo gone we would sure miss moments like these:
