This week on The Disclaimer, WMSE's weekly cabal with Ryan Schleicher, Milwaukee Record editor Matt Wild and I, we share our reactions to the Milwaukee County Transit System workers' three-day strike (technically a "work stoppage"), which will run through Saturday. Matt shares a few myths surrounding the strike, pulling from a helpful Urban Milwaukee article by Jeramey Jannene, and we reflect on how the strike underscores just how integral the transit system is to the county—a reality that's too often lost on those who don't rely on the bus. Then we share our initial impressions of Apple's new music streaming service, Apple Music, which on first blush seems like a huge winner. Even Matt, the city's most satisfied Spotify subscriber, admits that it's impressive.
