After using “Gimmie Shelter” in three of his films, Martin Scorsese did the inevitable and went straight to the song’s source for his latest film, Shine A Light. This concert film captures a fairly typical Rolling Stones performance (albeit one with guest appearances from Christina Aguilera, Buddy Guy and Jack White, and a former President Bill Clinton in the audience). The Times Cinema screens the documentary tonight at 7 p.m.
