Engelbert Humperdinck is back for some more! The 72-year-old singer returns to the Potawatomi Bingo Casino tonight at 8 p.m. for an encore to his Tuesday night performance. One of the last of the great, popular crooners, Humperdinck charted through the ’60s with a number of romantic balladstracks like “Release Me,” “There Goes My Everything” and “The Last Waltz”at a time when the radio was increasingly dominated by rock music.

i bought the stag nation ep without knowing a thing about the band. it just looked interesting and the price was right and the record was dedicated to Johnny Thunders, so I had to check it out. i hated the first song, she's my chemist, but really liked the last three, especially, on a cloudy day.

Should be a great night. Just a side note, The Mighty Deerlick (the Rodney Dangerfield of Milwaukee rock and roll) is the only band on that lineup to have been a functioning band more or less continuously from 1989 to the present, and is also one of the few bands that put out a record on the Atomic imprint (sort of... Sub Atomic, technically, which I believe was a subsidiary of Atomic), the 4-song 7" EP Stag Nation.
