The Charles Allis Art Museum concludes its series of classic biographical films tonight with a 7:30 p.m. screening of the 1932 oddity Rasputin and the Empress. This drama charts the self-professed healer’s rise in the Romanov family, his role in their downfall and his violent death, which is depicted surprisingly brutally, considering the film standards of the day.
