Dating is hard. First you have to find someone, then you both have to find time in your busy schedules, and finally you have to find an activity you can both agree on. Because everyone has to eat dinner ends up being the go to date night move. Now you have to agree on a place to go and that can be a more daunting task than asking someone out in the first place. Luckily we have some suggestions on where to go with that special someone.
Vagabond – New to Milwaukee, Vagabond pegs itself as “elevated street food” and features a menu of tacos, tortas and other small plates. The drink menu includes house margaritas with names like ancho-rita and blueberry basil. A great time to go would be on a Tuesday or Thursday for $2 tacos or on Wednesdays for 50 cent wings. No matter what day of the week you go make sure to check out this unique downtown dining experience.
Izumis – Milwaukee’s longest-standing Japanese restaurant is the place to go for sushi and other Japanese food on the east side. Located on Prospect Ave you can find classic rolls such as the Maguro Tataki (sashimi style seared tuna in ginger garlic) and new takes like the Gyu Tataki Sushi (seared beef). You can even get half-off coupons at our newly updated ShepStore.

Try the Maminha with a Caipirinha for an authentic experience you will not be able to get anywhere else.
Happy eating, Milwaukee.
