Join the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center (SMPAC) on May 1 for its 10th Anniversary Gala: An Extravaganza of Local Talent. The evening’s twenty acts will feature more than 100 amateurs and professionals from the Milwaukee, Madison and Janesville areas compiling a show including opera, unicycles, dance and comedy. Broadway performer, Tomáš Kubínek, “Certified Lunatic and Master of the Impossible,” serves as Master of Ceremonies.
Rachel Sorce, executive director of SMPAC, says, “The Gala celebrates the variety of culture and talent within our own community by showcasing diverse performances by people of all ages." The evening begins with a pre-show social at 6 p.m. and food for purchase from Emerald City Catering.
The event takes place 7:30 p.m., May 1 at South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center, 901 15th Ave., South Milwaukee.
